This course introduces environmental control systems (ECS) and (ECP) principles in order to supply energy-efficient and thermally comfortable architecture. ECS are interactions between the building and the environmental forces that are strongly influence the life-comfort of the inhabitants.
ECP are addressing how to deal against environmental forces or use them for own benefit. In summary, ECS are the implementation methods of ECP.
